It’s a New Year

By Jen | January 5, 2007

Welcome to 2007 Moms! Does anyone else think that 2006 went by way too fast? It just seemed like it blurred so much by us. I am ready for 2007 head on though.

Of course I have developed my new years resolutions. Let me tell you about them.

1) Take care of me. Lose some weight, get on my healthy lifestyle and take better care of my body.
Note: I have already scheduled a physical for this month. I am so excited about this appointment and its my first step of taking care of me.

2) Be a better parent. Take time to really sit back and cherish every moment and memory of my girls. Quit running life in the fast lane and take it day by day.

3) Make more home cooked meals and make sure we are sitting at the dinner table in the evenings and talk about our day.
(We were usually eating out like 3 times a week. We are changing this to eating out once a month to make it a luxury for our family instead of a standard.

Ok, those are my three resolutions that I am going to work on for myself and family this year. Are they doable and able to be kept? Absolutely and I look forward to the end of 2007 looking back on these and seeing how much we have accomplished these three goals.

Remember hug those babies tight!

Great goals! Ooh and eating out can cost you more money than you think too. My dh sat down and figured out that he was spending $500 a month on lunches out!!!

We have to cut back out eating out as well. I’d rather spend that money on my business if we are going to keep spending money on things like that.
