Should I dare say it? We are suppose to have absolutely beautiful weather this week. We were outside pretty much all day yesterday. This winter was way too long that’s for sure!

I tell you, this time of the year brings out the kid in me. The joys of playing kickball, throwing frisbee, chasing each other through the grass, rolling down hills… I could go on and on! This has been so wonderful and I think just what we have all been longing for after this winter.

My girls I believe would live outside if I let them. It is always a fight to get them to come in, but we are working on a reward system so we can nip this fight in the bud really quick.

You know it is really easy to get caught up with work in the winter months and really schedule some one on one time with my girls. I have vowed to not let that happen. Are you guilty of this as well? Listen make sure you take time out each day and devote that time to your children. It can be sitting outside in the grass reading a book, having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich picnic, complete with all the bugs wanting your food ;), having a game of kickball, flying a kite in the spring winds, building sand castles in the sand box… etc. Come up with your own special time each day so you can show your children the love and the memories that they too will one day look back on and say I use to love that as a kid!

Come on and share your activities you do with your children? We all can learn and have fun this spring and summer!

I am going to leave you today with a fun spring picture of my girls:
