Day in the Life

My attachment girl

My youngest daughter and I give attachment parenting a real definition. We are so attached at the hip literally. I can't even leave her eye sight or she will go crazy 😉 and I pretty much carry her all day until my beautiful Madisyn comes home from school and they start playing.

Lyndsee will sit with me and play with my hair for hours and at night she has to have my hair to go to sleep and if she wakes up at night and I am at my desk working and she can't find my hair… watch out for your ears hahaha. She usually tries to attempt to play with her daddy's hair, but its just not the same ;).

So Madisyn told her Sunday… Lyndsee when you grow up you will have to leave mommy and go to school like I do. Lyndsee immediately looked at Madisyn and said I am not going to grow up, I stay with mommy ;).

That's my girl 😉 Here is her taking a self portrait with the camera.

Lets Begin the Work Week With

A great big bruise hahaha!

What a way to come back from the wonderful and gracious time of Thanksgiving. I was giving Lyndsee her breathing treatment and her machine vibrated right off the chair onto my foot. OUCH.

Thank You Mom Blogging World

I wanted to make a special note to say thank you to all mom fellow mom bloggers for getting me through this rough weekend. I appreciate you all dearly and just gained so much more respect for each one of you. I had my crying moments, but the I would come read all the comments again and just see how each one of your words uplifted me.

For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Sad News – Can This Week End?

I'm so in shock right now and completely heartbroken. I am 10 hours away from home and I checked on flights for the girls and I and there just isn't anyway we could afford that :(. I have cried so much.

This was completely unexpected. The sheriff called my mom yesterday to tell her the news. They found my grandpa dead when they walked in. He had a gun in his hand and a gunshot wound to the head. I cannot believe he took his own life.

They put my grandma in the nursing home and he fell into a deep depression because he couldn't stand to be without her. I never dreamed in a million years the depression would lead to killing himself :(.

My mom called me from her cell today and put my grandma on so I could talk with her. She said I sure miss you and the babies and I want to see them. sad sad sad. This is so hard.

Just please keep my grandma and family in prayers. I just hope grandma does not give up now. I'm so scared about that and even my mom said too.

Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk

Well yes I will..

So we are all just waking up this morning and I do our morning routine of getting the girls their first cups of milk of the morning. I get Madisyn's to her just fine, but Lyndsee's is a little more complicated as I have to hide some medicine in hers ;).

I see we only have a little bit of milk so I try to divide it out among the girls. Fine, no problem. I get Lyndsee's poured after Madisyn's and get the medicine put into it. I sit the cup of milk down since I need to put the medicine back up. There goes the cup of milk tipped over with her medicine in it, onto my cell phone and all over Madisyn's artwork :(.

I just lose it. Luckily I have some sense in my head to hurry and grab the cell phone so its good, just a bit a milk on the top THANK GOODNESS! This has been one more stressful week so any other time I probably wouldn't have cried but this was the breaking point :(.

And you know what Organic milk is not cheap either hahaha, but that was least of my worries at this point as I had a screaming preschooler on my leg just wanting her milk. Luckily her big sister so graciously seen what was going on and offered Lyndsee her milk. Now that made me stop crying in an instant and thank my big girl for being so kind and caring.

Thankfully all is well back in the household….. :::phew:::
