Has Anyone Heard of Cafe-Au-Lait spots?

My youngest daughter has these and her pediatrician has always said we need to keep a close eye on them but never really told me why. Well this morning when I was dressing her I realized she has two big ones going down her arm now so I got online to do some research. NOT GOOD… why do I always have to read the bad stuff. She has six on her back alone and now two very big ones down her arm.

We just moved so I know I need to find a good pediatrician down here, but really wanted to see if anyone had any information or knew of anybody with these spots?

I have just had this gut feeling for the past month and I don’t know why that something is wrong with them.

She started out with one around 3 or 4 months of age and now they are just popping up all over her back and now going down her arm. Some are small and some are big but they are all in the same general area and all different shapes.

I do need to stay away from google and just wait till we get insurance here and find a good pediatrician.

Another thing though while I’m babbling here when I was reading it said something about one of the causes and I clicked on one of the causes and it brought up about social problems. Lyndsee is not social at all. Well let me take that back she is very social and rambunctios lol around us, my step daughter, and my mom and dad but if she doesn’t know you or we haven’t been around these people for say about a year she doesn’t really feel comfortable… and she’ll go hide. Like when my friend from Orlando came over Saturday she went and hid on the couch until I came got her and then she dug her head into my chest and wouldn’t look back up. She evenutally fell asleep like that.

Maybe it’s just the age and she is going to be very shy. That’s what I’m hoping.

Ok it just helps writing all this out and yea I’m not going to research this anymore until I can take her to a pediatrician. Google can be very scary.
