post Category: Day in the Life, Little Sis — Jen @ 8:20 am — post

My youngest daughter and I give attachment parenting a real definition. We are so attached at the hip literally. I can't even leave her eye sight or she will go crazy ;) and I pretty much carry her all day until my beautiful Madisyn comes home from school and they start playing.

Lyndsee will sit with me and play with my hair for hours and at night she has to have my hair to go to sleep and if she wakes up at night and I am at my desk working and she can't find my hair… watch out for your ears hahaha. She usually tries to attempt to play with her daddy's hair, but its just not the same ;).

So Madisyn told her Sunday… Lyndsee when you grow up you will have to leave mommy and go to school like I do. Lyndsee immediately looked at Madisyn and said I am not going to grow up, I stay with mommy ;).

That's my girl ;) Here is her taking a self portrait with the camera.

what a sweetheart. love the self-portrait. good for you for meeting her needs. the security you are providing now will surely benefit her down the road. :)

What a spectacular mama you are–bravo to you! I know it can be exhausting at this time of life, but believe me when I say the time passes all too quickly!! (My hooligans are now 14 and 12!!)
