post Category: Mom's Babbling — Jen @ 8:58 pm — post

I connected with a really cool attachment parenting mom today! Just how did we meet? Through the wonderful world of mom bloggers. I love finding new people online to associate my parenting style with. My heart is very dear to breastfeeding and attachment parenting.

Ya know…No one had even talked to me about breastfeeding or attachment parenting before I had my girls. I just assumed I would try breastfeeding with my first born daughter even against my extended family's wishes. You see they thought I was the craziest person to be breastfeeding my child past 6 months old. I got told over and over how I would never get her weaned. Well I guess I showed them!! Anyways my point to all this is… I wish I would had more support back 5 years ago and not go through it all alone. I am seeing more and more talk about breastfeeding and attachment parenting online. It thrills me to know that other moms are not going through this alone anymore :).

And speaking of my new blogging friend, she has the cutest shirts she designs and she is giving one away too. Head over there now and enter before August 3rd when she draws the winner. If I don't win… and I really really hope I do, I will be placing my order for a shirt and that's a promise hehe!

awww, thanks for the shout out. :)
that stinks that you didn’t have much support 5 years ago, but i hope that AP and breastfeeding continue to be more and more the norm instead of the exception.
