Day #1 of National Eosinophilic Awareness Week!

As many of you know, our L was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis in early 2016. The last three and a half years have been so hard but to watch my girl strive with perseverance to fight for each day is remarkable. She still relies on an amino acid formula to keep her alive, but we are so proud to say that she finally has four safe foods. To go from zero safe foods to four safe foods is huge in our daughter’s world. Everything in today’s society seems to revolve around food. It is depressing for kids that cannot participate in food activities because of this evil disease.

Today kicks off National Eosinophilic Awareness Week. Each day this week, I will be sharing information from the CURED Foundation to raise awareness about L’s disease. We need a cure!
