What a week it has been! I am so glad to actually get back into civilized country here in the blogging world. Going without internet and TV…. OHÂ MY. How did they survive back in the day without these things??
We made our move with the grace of God and the help of some great friends! Just when we were all set to move, hubbs got word his company was laying off 75% of the workforce permanent due to the falling economy. You know what, I was mad and upset for a day then realized, this is actually a blessing in disguise. We have been wanting hubbs to get into a new field due to several circumstances and this is the shove God is giving us to get him there. We have total faith he will get another job and God is leading the way to that new journey. We will follow.
Once we got our move, it took forever for internet and TV but we are back in business now. I did lose my desktop computer in the process. I have no idea what happened, but Sunday when I went to turn the desktop on… I received the black screen of death. It would not boot, no desktop screen, nothing. I am going to have it checked out to see if it can be saved, I sure hope so. We had to dip into savings and purchase a laptop for me so I could get back to work. Hubbs said Happy early Valentines Day ;).
I do like it, though cause I can be more mobile now with my work and not be strapped to a desktop.
So we are all settling in now, battening down the hatches with this snow storm that is hitting us. It has already cancelled school for two days… lets see how many more ;).
