Today around 2 I was in my office working while the girls were drawing on their magna doodles. All of a sudden Madisyn comes a running… Mommy Mommy look outside it is snowing. This girl just loves snow. You can tell she has her mommy’s blood going through her ;). Then she said mommy this means it is Christmas! Awww… gosh I hated to break her heart. She was all excited that it was Christmas day since there was snow on the ground.
When this happened, I promptly walked away from my desktop and headed down to the living room and sat by the window for the longest time watching the snow fall. It was so beautiful and gives you time to reflect on things as well. Plus it is so awesome getting to watch your child’s eyes just get bigger and bigger with each snowflake.
I did have a little mischief in me though. I went and got my laptop and Im’ed a good friend in Florida. She HATES Florida and I just had to rub in. I said “Lau I am sitting here by my window watching the beautiful snow come down.” She immediately gave me the smiley with the tongue sticking out LOL. She knows I love her but I just thought that was too funny. hehe 😉
