Yesterday, one of my water glass jugs broke :(. I mixed my Sunrider fortune delight in this jug. Oh well… we can buy a new one right?
Well I placed the broken pieces into the trash bag to take out later. I come back to it to take out and there must have been a sharp piece sticking out the bottom when I picked the bag up and it cut my toe. OUCH. Blood starts to pour everywhere. I tried to be quiet so the girls wouldn’t notice me as I did not want them to freak. Madisyn saw me and said mommy what happened. I explained to her. She said ok mommy sit down. Let me go get you a band aid. I sat down on the bed. I had already put a wet washcloth on it to stop the bleeding. She was rubbing my arm saying mommy it is going to be ok. Don’t worry Madisyn is right here. She put the bandaid on carefully and kissed my forehead.
I just sat there and tears welled up in my eyes. It is amazing how much our children learn from us. I was truly touched that my 3 year old could take care of me like that. I love my girls so much!!!
