Yesterday I was rocking Lyndsee (my 1 year old) to night night and Madisyn (my 3 year old) said “mommy sissy not go to sleep she play with me”. I said no hun sissy is tired and wants to go nite nite. Madisyn then comes back with but mom she is my best friend and I love her. Is that not priceless?
I love that my girls are close and it melts my heart during the day when they just out of the blue go up and hug each other :). I was worried at first having them so close together, but I wouldn’t change a thing now. They truly are BEST FRIENDS.
Last night I had sat down with Madisyn to have some ice cream and I got up for just a second to get sissy some since she decided she wanted some and what do you know there was Big Sis feeding Little Sis her ice cream. I felt like such a bad mommy for not getting Lyndsee some to start with but never fear Big Sis will definitely look out for her.
It’s such a joy raising my girls. Thank you Lord for giving them to me!
