It is snowy here in North Carolina. We are loving every minute of it, except I wish that I didn’t have to go to work. The girls spreading cheer and laughter in our backyard. Can I just skip work and sled with them? It sure is tempting!
All the neighborhood kids are enjoying our backyard because of the great sledding hills. I couldn’t be happier. This is what life is all about. Seeing kids enjoy themselves and spreading great cheer. You hear all the bad news and it is good to just enjoy family time.
My handsome husband makes sure that I have a clear path to get to work. Each morning, he will go out and warm the vehicle so I can get in a nice warm seat. Love those heated seats on these very cold mornings. As each day goes by, we grow closer and closer in our marriage. I am grateful!
Our doggies are sure enjoying the snow as well. They love to just run and run through the snow. Along the way, they will stop and eat the snow as well. It is a joy just to watch them run free.
My body yearns for the snow. Sitting in the house with my family and watching the snow fall is pure happiness. My heart swells and I just could jump up and down. Now, please can we get a snow storm on the weekend so I can enjoy sledding? 🙂
