Get your baby’s birth announcement up on a HUGE billboard in NYC Times Square and Los Angeles by using Target Baby. You will need to do this today though to get in on the fun.
To ring in 2011, Target® is providing parents everywhere an exciting way to share their big news – the addition of a new baby – with the world. For a limited time, Target is inviting parents to create playful birth announcements via the retailer’s Target Baby Facebook page that can be shared with family and friends. Target will then randomly select birth announcements for display in New York City’s Times Square, the meeting place of the world, and on a larger-than-life outdoor display board in Los Angeles.
This is easy and such a creative way to show your family across the states about your new bundle of joy. All you need to do is visit Facebook.com/TargetBaby to create your Big Baby Board announcement. It is free so no worries about charge. You will enter your child’s name, birth date and birth weight. The application will then generate a digital announcement that can be shared via your Facebook, Twitter and e-mail. Parents also will have the opportunity to submit their baby’s birth announcement to be featured on a physical Big Baby Board in Los Angeles and on digital billboards in New York City’s Times Square.
