Packing for a Disney World Trip? Try these tips!

We will be heading to Disney World soon and are starting our planning. My husband starts his packing lists well in advance. He has packing the car down to a science. He doesn’t want anything blocking his view and would like for us to try to keep items to a minimum. Sometimes, I go a little overboard with the packing.

Disney World Packing Tips

Disney has released a video with helpful tips that will help you pack for a magical vacation and discover fun for the little ones.

Your little one can now be proclaimed a Princess at Walt Disney World!

Have you heard the exciting news? Your little one can now be proclaimed a Princess at a character greeting or Princess dine location at Walt Disney World or Disneyland. This will be a very memorable moment for your child. My girls still talk about their Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Experience at Disney World.

“My Storybook Moment-Princess” lets guests become royalty through a new gifting experience at Disney Floral & Gifts that includes royal treasures and a personalized proclamation, but it’s unsigned. Simply present the declaration to a favorite fairy tale princess for signature and become part of the royal court!

To learn more, check out My WDW Storybook Moment-Princess (407-WDW-GIFT) and My DLR Storybook Moment-Princess (717-781-GIFT).

My Storybook Moment is also available in other beloved characters and themes, such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse (including a “Best Friends” lanyard and Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse Ear Hat), Sheriff Woody (including an official cowboy hat, bandana, and sheriff’s badge) and many more.

Coming Soon to Disney World: All-New 11-Acre Toy Story Land.

New Toy Story Land Disney World

We have exciting news for Toy Story and Walt Disney World fans. Recently, Disney held the D23 Expo in California and announced updates that will be happening in the park. Our family is happy about this particular update!

The new land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will take guests to infinity and beyond, allowing them to step into the worlds of their favorite films, starting with the all-new 11-acre Toy Story Land. Guests will become part of the adventurous outdoors of Andy’s backyard, including two new Disney Parks attractions and one expanded favorite.

What exactly will the update include? Here is the scope we have so far.

– Family-friendly roller coaster – This coaster will zip and zoom, plunge and coast as it takes guests on a thrilling, toy-filled adventure throughout the new land on the back of Slinky Dog.

– Alien saucers attraction – The famous little green aliens from the movie will take guests around for a spin in their very own flying saucers.

– Toy Story Mania! – Guests glide into the Toy Story Midway Games Play Set and take aim at 3D objects in a variety of fast-paced games, with an expansion that adds an additional track to this popular attraction

Please stay tuned for more updates. As soon as we receive the latest news on the Toy Story Land, we will be sure so share it with you!

To infinity and beyond….

Check out the “Frozen” Fireworks at Disney World!

It’s no big secret that we love Disney World. Our all-time Disney favorite movie is literally coming to life right before Disney guests at Hollywood Studios.

FROZEN at Disney World

“Frozen Fireworks” just debuted last month at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and is quickly becoming a favorite of guests of all ages.

“Frozen Fireworks” will run nightly through September 1, as a part of the park’s Frozen Summer Fun celebration and viewing is available throughout the park.

Magic Kingdom Height Ranges for Attractions and Rides

I received the below infographic in my email this afternoon from Disney World. It took me back when we first took the girls to Disney World. Of course, I was stressing about what rides they could and couldn’t ride. This infographic will put the stress aside and have you prepared for your next trip to Magic Kingdom!
