Disney’s MALEFICENT releases in theaters everywhere on May 30th!

Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

Sneak Peek at Paramount’s Blockbuster “Noah”

One of the first thoughts that goes through your head is – Let me get his/her booster seat! You no longer have to worry about getting the booster seat out of your car with the BubbleBum Inflatable Booster Seat. This is such an cost-effective, portable, foldable and loveable booster seat. As you can see from the picture above, L absolutely loves this booster seat. It is so convenient for us when she is riding car pool with another parent or going to town with my step-daughter or riding with someone to a kid’s church event.

BubbleBum was founded by Safekids USA Certified CPST Grainne Kelly from Northern Ireland who, like many other parents, was appalled by the lack of car booster seats available from car rental desks even when booked in advance.

She believes that every child deserves to be protected. Through her research she discovered that some of the main barriers for use of boosters and the lack of information or education available to parents along with the inconvenience of the conventional rigid designs and resistance of children to use a “baby seat”.

As a mother of two, Grainne set out to solve this problem while working closely with her children and the children of local schools.

The feedback from a child that now uses our product was priceless! The children helped with the “cheeky” name and the funky color and design, giving reasons about what they like about BubbleBum as opposed to existing rigid boosters:-

  1. They found it easier to carry as it is lightweight and compact.
  2. They were not embarrassed to bring it to school in their backpack, it was cool!
  3. It was more comfortable than the conventional rigid options already on the market
  4. They liked the fact that it was for “big kids”

BubbleBum removed the barrier to entry from children and the inconvenience factor as it is so easy to inflate and deflate for storage. Now Grandmas and sitters can carry one with ease in the glovebox or simply in their purse.

When the seat first arrived for us to review, my first thought was it would be hard to inflate. It inflates in maybe 30 seconds flat. It is that easy. It comes in a very convenient bag to store so it easily transitions with the child from place to place. The size puts L at the right height for her seat belt to hit in the right place. This won me over with safety. The seat is for kids 4 – 11. The booster seat does come with extra shoulder straps to help position your child just right.

It is very hip as well with other kids. All of L’s friends have commented on the seat and want one. Too cute! The car seat is available at Target stores all across the country as well as online order from the BubbleBum website.

Last minute stocking stuffer idea – Santa Paws 2!

As most everyone knows, my sweet and precious L is a huge animal lover. She will go as far as if there is an ant in the house, she will scoop it up with a spoon and run outside with it so we will not kill it. We had a mouse in the house and she wanted to make sure that my husband would not kill the mouse in the trap. Instead, she requested he catch the mouse and release it into the forest. She is a true animal lover.

Animal lovers of all ages will enjoy this new movie out for the Christmas season. It is such a good movie that you will watch over and over throughout the year.

M and L sat down with me to give me their best parts about the movie.

L: I like when the doggie has babies. The pups learn the true spirit of Christmas.

Why would you recommend:

Because it is such a good movie for kids that love animals and see all about Christmas.

M: My favorite part was when they broke out of jail by tying a rope to an ice cream truck.

Why would you recommend: The movie shows if you have determination and believe, you will go far in life. I love it shows the spirit of Christmas.

This movie will really warm your heart and it shows with M and L’s own words. I know we will be having popcorn and hot chocolate with the snow storm coming. A perfect match with his movie. Snuggle up with your kids and watch a good movie over the Christmas break.

MONSTERS, INC. 3D is now in Theaters!

“Monsters, Inc.,” one of Disney•Pixar’s most beloved and visually imaginative feature films ever, returns to the big screen to delight a whole new generation of audiences and fans alike, this time in stunning 3D. The now-classic Academy Award®-winning animated comedy adventure “Monsters, Inc.” is set in Monstropolis, a thriving company town where monsters of all shapes and sizes reside. Lovable Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) and his wisecracking best friend Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) are the top scare team at Monsters, Inc., the largest scream-processing factory. The main power source in the monster world is the collected screams of human children—and at Monsters, Inc., an elite team of scarers is responsible for gathering those precious natural resources. Believed by monsters to be toxic, children are strictly forbidden from entering Monstropolis. This will be a great movie to check out over Christmas break with the family. The girls have been counting down the days so I think we will have to make a fun family trip out to see it!
