There are times that we run out of ideas for a birthday party. Moe’s has an excellent catering program and partnered with us to throw an awesome family birthday party.

Club Mini Moe’s is an interactive website made just for kids by Moe’s Southwest Grill. You can sign your kids’ up here and they can experience the fun and receive special offers.

They birthday party started with a catering specialist arriving at our family’s home in Florida. We specified the set-up in the kitchen on the counter. The space worked out perfectly as they bring in disposable pans and put them above burners to keep the food warm during the party.

While the food was being prep, we let the kids decorate the birthday banner for the special birthday guest. Perfect idea!

The family starting arriving and we let the guests begin the food line. This catering event was Moe’s Southwest Grill famous fajita bar. It includes the soft tortilla shells, chicken, steak, black beans, rice, grilled peppers and onions, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and queso dip. Everything that you can think of for a delicious fajita bar. Nacho chips were also included.

After we ate to our hearts desired, we retreated to the garage to have some pinata fun! All the kids were smiling ear to ear with each swing. Once the pinata busted, the kids were scrambling as fast as they could to gather all the candy.

After the pinata fun, the kids burned off their sugar rush with a game of frisbee, while the adults were mingling and visiting. It was a perfect birthday party and YOU could win one too!

I need your best salsa recipe – {Win $1,000}

We are huge salsa lovers. My family can down a jar of salsa in no time. No particular kind is our favorite either, we are a fan of all kinds.

During my visit earlier this year with Moe’s Southwest Grill, I was able to team up with other bloggers to come up with an awesome salsa recipe. We were called the Salsa Superstars because you know… we are well superstars ;).

Moe’s Southwest Grill gave us a tray full of vegetables and fruit. No other directions were given. We just had to pull our heads together and come up with our own salsa recipe. We got this!

We immediately got into action by cutting the fruits and vegetables. Our secret weapon in the recipe was pineapple. It really make the salsa stand-out.

I have to say, our recipe was a huge hit. Now it is your turn to tell Moe’s Southwest Grill your best salsa recipe.

Enter the Raise the Salsa Bar contest by submitting an original salsa recipe (and be sure to give it a fun, unique name) before Friday, June 29, 2012. The Moe’s team of judges will select semi-finalists based on ingredient selection, originality and feasibility. Moe’s fans will vote on their favorite. From there, Moe’s Executive Chef and fellow judges will prepare and taste the top three recipes. At which point, the winning salsa will be chosen and then featured in Moe’s salsa bars nationwide. Pretty cool right? Now, is your moment to shine.

Welcome to Moe’s Southwest Grill

Moe’s has a new person in town. Who could it be?

You guessed it. It’s me. Pretty cool right?! I am so excited about this new journey with Moe’s Southwest Grill. We had our first taste of Moe’s three years ago in Florida. My husband did not even want to try the place. Now, we are hooked. I am proud to say that I will be on the Blogger Advisory Council over the next year. We have lots of exciting plans and events planned. So, you will want to make sure you stay tuned.

During my recent visit to Moe’s Southwest Grill in Atlanta, GA, I was able to go behind the scenes and create my own burrito. It takes a lot for a company to encourage you to come behind the scenes, but Moe’s was excited to have us.

We recently went HFCS free and are really watching what foods we put into our body, so just another reason of the millions to love Moe’s. Moe’s believes in delicious simplicity, which is their way of saying they’re committed to serving only the highest quality ingredients 100% of the time at 100% of their locations. The fully customizable menu proudly boasts all natural, cage-free, white breast meat chicken; steroid-free, grain-fed pulled pork; 100% sirloin, grass-fed steak; and organic tofu. At Moe’s, there are no microwaves, no Trans fats and no msg. Wouldn’t it be nice if all restaurants gave us this option? Moe’s really listens to their customers and are always open to feedback. They are rocking the customer service world indeed!

While on our recent road trip to Florida, we tried to visit as many Moe’s as we could. It was with the new handy phone app, that we were able to track down the different locations. I have the app installed on my Droid. Moe’s Southwest Grill® partnered with the app design company Splick–it® to provide an app that is available on the iPhone and Droid markets. The app allows you to track all the Moe’s locations around you and also allows you to order straight from the app. All you have to do is drive to the location and pick up your food. No more waiting in line. Pretty sweet right?! Visit the iTunes® store or Android® Market on your phone and download the app for free. Easy peasy.

In addition to adding iPhone® and Android® apps to Moe’s mobile presence, Splick–it® created fully revamped online ordering websites for each participating location. Moe’s will also have access to new mobile marketing tools created by Splick–it® to send targeted, outbound promotions to their user base.

Each location we visited, we were always treated with courteous and respect. This was before they know I was on the Blogger Advisory Council too. This shows you how this corporation strives on customer service.
